She has worked with individuals experiencing a vast range of mental health symptoms – from general anxiety and depression to chronic mental illness such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Courtney utilizes a variety of methods in counseling tailored to address the clients’ specific needs and goals for treatment.
Courtney obtained her Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Tarleton State University in December 2015, and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Baylor University in May 2013. Courtney has provided services at a local outpatient mental health office and to incarcerated women.
Courtney is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas (License #81661). Courtney’s approach to therapy is one in which you can expect a genuine, listening, nonjudgmental, and empathetic ear. You will experience a therapist who strives diligently to understand you as a unique individual with the hope that you will feel heard, seen, and valued. More than anything, her goal is to provide you a space in which you feel safe enough to be open and to work toward your goals for therapy. Courtney has seen therapy be a deeply meaningful experience for many, and you may find this to be true for yourself when you take courage to invest in the process. Courtney would be honored to walk through that journey with you.
