Life happens and it is not always fair, right, or makes sense. Not everything will be in our control. When circumstances and life events hit hard, our capacity to cope can be overwhelmed leaving us confused, worried, distressed, frustrated, lost, numb, and sometimes hopeless. With the right support, we can get clarity, relief, and tools to recover well. Beginning or continuing our journey through life's difficulties with a therapist can help us find meaning during these times. I believe in helping guide clients to find their purpose through meaningful connections and mindfulness, using holistic and eclectic approaches to get you back to a place of stabilization. You can feel better. You deserve to feel better. Let me help!
During my career, I have considered myself blessed to have worked with diverse populations in various settings from non-profit, mobile crisis intervention, In-home and center-based Autism therapy, and private practice. I am so grateful for my clinical experiences and have learned that no client, or the situation is the same. I am passionate about working with children, adolescents, and parents who need help reconciling and restoring family connections. I also enjoy working with those who are in transition during and following any type of major life change. Whether it's starting college, going through a divorce, dealing with loss, making a difficult decision or a life crisis.... You don't have to walk alone.
I received my Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Texas Woman's University in 2008 and my Master of Science in Counseling and Development from Texas Woman's University in 2011. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) #71587) and a National Certified Counselor (#282852). I am Certified in Crisis Intervention, and I am a Certified Parenting Coordinator.
