Nubia Ballesteros is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 7 years of experience working with children, adolescents and families. Nubia has worked with individuals living with anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, domestic violence, family issues and trauma. Nubia utilizes a solution focused, cognitive behavioral, and a holistic approach by providing individualized treatment based on her client’s needs and identified goals.
Nubia obtained her Masters of Counseling Psychology at Tarleton State University in Stephenville Texas. Nubia has provided services for local non-profit organizations, Parole, Probation, CPS, local attorneys and self-referred clients by working with men, women and children who have experienced family violence, providing support and resources, and psychoeducational group therapy to men and women.
Nubia is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas (License # 78340) as well as a Certified Life Coach (License # JWO38T47). Nubia believes everyone is capable of change with the appropriate tools and support to succeed and that out of little to nothing can come greatness if you give it an extra push and effort. She is passionate about helping hopeless individuals, children and couples rekindle the gifts of joy, playfulness, and connection.
