The holiday season is in full bloom.
But, did you know that good times have their own form of stress?
Sometimes during the holidays this stress sneaks up on us due to all our expectations of fun and merriment with friends and family.
That can be a lot to accomplish especially if the expectations are very high or something in the past is missing like a loved one no longer able to attend the festivities due to separation or even death.
At times like these it is important to do emotional planning.
Take assessment of how you are feeling and how much emotional energy you have in your fuel tank and then pace yourself!
Remember a little bit of good fun and love is better than overshooting for the stars and exhausting yourself!
It's also the season for self-care, self-love, and personal rest and relaxation.
