Christina Landeros, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with VCounselors, the new virtual branch of San Antonio Counseling and Behavioral Center. She has a Master of Science in Social Work degree from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree from Texas State University. Christina has over 10 years of direct practice experience, working with children, adolescents, and adults in both mental health and medical social work settings. Through the application of comprehensive assessments, psychoeducation, and evidence based therapeutic techniques, Christina has helped her clients empower themselves with the skills to reach their patient-centered treatment goals. She uses a holistic and strengths-based approach, incorporating Mindfulness, Meditation, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Ecotherapy, Cultural Humility, and Trauma Informed Care. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers, Greater Austin Social Workers, Texas Ecotherapy Collective, and is an Adjunct Faculty member at Texas State University. She was awarded the Field Instructor of the Year Award from the University of Texas at Austin’s School of Social Work program January 29th, 2021. Christina is a Native Texan, a Mother, and a strong advocate for Social and Environmental Justice.
