As your therapist, my goal is to help you address your problems enabling you to feel supported, empowered, and confident in solving whatever challenges you are experiencing. I practice person-centered, trauma-informed therapy, which means I will put myself in your shoes, listen and accept you without judgment, always be genuine, and help you uncover and deal with traumatic issues you may have. My therapeutic orientation is Cognitive Behavior Therapy which is a type of psychotherapy that looks at how your behaviors influence your thoughts or feelings and vice versa. I have over 15 years of experience working with children, adults, and families in government, non-profit, and private settings. As a Counselor and a Social Worker, I will help you look for solutions both by examining your internal struggles and also looking at how your environment may be contributing to your problems. I can help you get connected with resources in the community that can further support you and/or your family in addressing your physical, emotional, spiritual, or financial needs. I look forward to being your partner in this journey towards healing and I thank you in advance for choosing my services.
