Victoria Adeyemi is a Licensed Professional Counselor with four years of experience working with children, adolescents, families and foster/adoptive families. Victoria has worked with individuals who’ve experienced trauma, abandonment issues, abuse, self-harm, depression, anxiety, bipolar and schizophrenia diagnoses.
Victoria obtained both her Master of Counseling in Clinical and Mental Health and Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Sam Houston State University. Victoria has provided individual and group therapy in group homes, foster care agencies, and child advocacy centers, working with children, adolescents and families who have experienced complex trauma such as grief, domestic violence, teen relationship abuse, sexual, physical, and emotional abuse. She has also worked with bridging the gap between children in foster care and their foster family. Victoria is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas (81659), certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trust Based Relational Intervention.
It is through a client-centered approach paired with cognitive behavioral techniques, that you as the client will become more insightful and aware of the areas in your life that need reforming. You will adopt the tools to move toward healthier patterns, and be challenged to do deeper work to make necessary changes and ultimately create healing in your life.
